In Piloting mode, Mia opens the right screen, fills in fields by their name and clicks for you, on your real data. It stops before saving and hands control back. Esc stops it at any time.

What is an AI agent for businesses?

An AI agent is artificial intelligence that does more than answer: it tracks goals, uses the company's tools and prepares or carries out actions within a defined scope. Mia is Madata's AI agent: it works in your sales, stock, invoices and accounts, with the signed-in user's permissions.

What is the difference between Mia and ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is a general-purpose assistant that doesn't know your figures. Mia is connected to your Madata workspace: it reads your real data, prepares quotes, reminders or entries, and acts in Madata after your approval. You can also connect your workspace to ChatGPT or Claude with the MCP connectors.

What is a Mia mission?

A mission is a goal Mia tracks for you, such as collecting overdue invoices or avoiding stock-outs. On each run, it checks, analyses, prepares the actions and reports back in a Madata Discussion thread. You choose its level of autonomy: keep you informed, prepare so you decide, or act within your limits.

Can Mia act without me?

Only within the scope you set. At the "Act within your limits" level, it creates drafts and makes routine updates; sending, payments, payroll and accounting still wait for your approval. Every action is recorded in the action log and can be undone for 10 minutes.

Can Mia see all my data?

No. Mia acts as the signed-in user and inherits exactly their Madata permissions. A read-only user gets a read-only Mia.

Is Mia included in my pack?

Yes. Mia is included in all four Madata packs, with free MIA Tokens credited to your workspace every month. For heavier use, the Mia subscription provides 500,000 MIA Tokens per month, and top-ups are available. You can cap each user's usage.

Which modules can Mia work with?

The ones in your workspace: sales, purchases, stock, accounting, payroll, point of sale, CRM, projects, manufacturing, budget, attendance and appointments, depending on your pack's apps and the user's permissions.

Does Mia work by voice and on mobile?

Yes. You can talk to it in voice mode or in live conversation, on desktop and in the Madata mobile app for Android and iOS. Screen piloting works on desktop.
