Does the Real Estate app cost extra?
No. It is included at no extra cost in TPE and PME packs. Activate it from the Apps section of your Madata workspace and enjoy every feature: properties, leases, bookings, sales, map and dashboard.
Can I manage Airbnb-style short stays?
Yes. Nightly bookings, per-property availability calendar and 2-way iCal sync with Airbnb and Booking.com: external bookings are imported automatically and your availability stays up to date everywhere.
Are rents invoiced automatically?
Yes. Every monthly, quarterly or yearly lease generates its rent invoices automatically, wired into your SYSCOHADA accounting. PDF rent receipts are generated and overdue rents are chased by email.
Can I also sell properties?
Yes. The app handles property sales: reservation, down payment, payment schedule and agent commissions, up to final invoicing.
Is the security deposit tracked?
Yes. Each lease records the security deposit amount, alongside the rent and its frequency: monthly, quarterly or yearly. Rents are then invoiced automatically at each due date, with their PDF rent receipt.
Can I manage land, offices and commercial premises?
Yes. The catalogue accepts residential, commercial and industrial properties as well as land, each with its photo gallery, amenities, documents and location on an interactive map that tells vacant properties from occupied ones.
Are agent commissions computed?
Yes. On each lease, the agent's commission is set as a percentage or a fixed amount, and Madata computes it. Property sales, for their part, track the reservation, the deposit and the payment schedule.
How do I activate the app on my workspace?
If you are already a Madata customer on a TPE or PME pack, open the Apps section of your workspace and activate Real Estate in one click. Otherwise, create your Madata workspace and pick your pack: the app is available right away.
